He usually fights using his own body though he is no rival to Akira. he is also often mistaken as the dog or the servant of Akira because of his tendencies to follow him everywhere and behave like a pet.



His Al Cesta gloves, given to him by Akira/Shirogane, takes the form of gauntlets in battle that seemingly increases Kengo's strength.
