Furinji Goku is a detective who has an “eye of god”.
While he was investigating the murder case of his colleague when he had been an officer, he was pressured to stop it by the police executives. However, he continue investigating, and he lost his left eye. When he was about to be killed, a mysterious group helped him and transplant an artificial eye. The eye was a super technological device that connected to the whole computer network in the world, and enabled him to control any computers.
(Source: AnimeNfo)서기 2014년의 도쿄시티. 두번의 대지진을 겪은 도쿄는 초고층 빌딩이 들어선 하이테크놀로지의 도시로 재탄생하였다. 전직경찰 출신인 후린지 고쿠는 이 도시의 뒷세계에서는 제법 유명한 사립탐정. 하지만, 근래 들어 고쿠의 경찰시절 동료들이 하나 둘씩 의문의 죽음을 당하는 사건이 발생한다. 대부분 자살로 잠정 결론이 나지만 고쿠는 이를 믿지 않고 나름의 수사를 계속하려 한다. 고쿠는 예전 동료인 여형사 야부키 요코를 찾아 동료들의 죽을에 얽힌 비밀을 물어보고 그들이 모두 하쿠류 겐지라는 무기 상인과 얽혀 있음을 알게 된다.
함께 후쿠류 겐지 소유의 빌딩으로 향하던 고쿠와 요코는 감시를 서고 있는 두명의 형사가 투신하는 것을 눈 앞에서 목격한다. 이제 겐지 수사팀에는 요코만이 유일한 생존자. 동료들의 죽음을 밝혀내기 위해 고쿠는 겐지의 빌딩에 직접 잠입을 시도하는데...
