Yukari Sumitomo is the class representative of Shion's and Mizuho's class in the St. Lucia Academy. 



She is shown to be quite haughty and looking down to other students, especially to Mizuho and Shion. She is very concerned about the average grade of their class and often tells Mizuho that her low grades are the reason why the whole class gets punished from time to time.



In the beginning of the story Yukari tells Mizuho to finish her French composition quickly and then takes away her mysterious notebook. However, Shion snatches the notebook from her and gives it back to its owner.



Later it is Yukari who tells Shion about Mizuho's mysterious past. The next day she confronts the girls and tells them that their French compositions were both terrible despite of the fact that they did their best and Mizuho was supposed to be quite familiar with French language.



It is revealed that she knowingly didn't hand Mizuho's composition over to the teacher.
