A lighthearted anime about spring time. It was originally set to an elementary school song. The film features several vignettes.



NOTE FOR MODS: I linked "Norakuro Nitouhei" as a an alternative version relation because at the 00:03:13 mark of Revue Haru is where we see Norakuro and his fellow dog soldiers exercising for 15 seconds before the scene changes to look at other animals; this scene was re-animated (not re-used, but genuinely re-drawn) for "Norakuro Nitouhei". Similarly at the 00:07:42 mark we see a totally full different version of "Doubutsu Sumo Taikai", the intro is the same but the animal pairs are different; yet the animation is re-cycled at the very end where the monkey gets the trophy and it collapses on top of him from the weight. Yasuji Murata is the creator of all shorts. More anime might be linked in their use for Revue Haru but it's nothing that I can concretely ID or recall. Especially since he draws a lot of his animals the same; like every tanuki he's drawn in any video looks identical, but that doesn't mean it's the same tanuki.
