Worshiped in the Milis religion, he helps Rudeus throughout key points his journey.
It was later revealed that Hitogami in fact was manipulating Rudeus the whole time for his own personal gains of getting rid of his enemies. He is the sworn enemy of Orsted and has the power of foresight and the ability to manipulate humans such as Rudeus to do his bidding.
In the alternate timeline, he was able to obtain Rudeus' trust in which he exploited to kill his family, bringing ruin to both Rudeus and the world.
