Kureha appeared in episode 10. She is a ghost who has waited for ages under a red leafed maple tree for her lover to come.
At the end the episode, it is revealed that her lover died without her knowing, and he was reborn as a maple tree. Kureha realizes that the person she was waiting for was always there by her side as she waited.
