Bokuto Koutaro is a 3rd year Captain and Wing Spiker of Fukurodani Volleyball Team. He is often childish and due to that, Akaashi Keiji always takes care of him and acts like his parent. He is in a rivalry relationship with Kuroo Tetsurou, Nekoma's Captain. Together with Kuroo, he teaches Tsukishima Kei Volleyball despite the fact that Karasuno High is a formidable opponent.
